Brief Translation on the Imported

Ministry
of Foreign Affairs of the People¡¯s Republic of China presents its compliments
the embassies and international organizations and has the honor to notice the
pollution standard on the vehicle as following:
In
order to reduce the pollution of vehicle exhausting, Beijing will start Chinese
5 standard on the vehicle. Stop the registration of light gasoline vehicle
under Chinese level 5. The Environment office made announcement on the two test
function of the OBD system in Chinese Level 5. The specific item as follows:

1 The vehicle applies for Vehicle license in Beijing must fit for Chinese Level
5 from 1st January 2015. (The Chinese Level 5 equivalent Euro5 B+, American
standard Tier2 B5 or Lev2 , ULEV standard , Japan new long term standard after
2009)
For
the car was imported to China before 1st January 2015, which have
not be registered, can get assistance on the registration from the Ministry
office by the embassy handing note and offer the letter with the imported date
and stamped by the embassy. (the car must fit for the¡°Euro 5 ¡±and without IUPR , OBD with
the function of estimating the efficiency of catalyst by control the nitrogen
oxide. )

For
the imported car which does not in the Chinese Level 5 Environment Catalogue,
the diplomatic can offer the vehicle pollutions standard certificate which
issued by the production company as a basis to apply for the environment verify
when the first time apply for Beijing plate.
The certificate is in English(should be translated in Chinese)or Chinese
Edition, the content includes: model of the car, chassis number, engine number,
production date of the car, the pollution standard and so on, it should be
signed or stamped by the production company or the representative in Beijing.
Meanwhile, the embassy should offer note to prove that the car was belong to
the diplomatic. For the car which cannot get the certificate from the
production company, should be tested by the Chinese test organization to get
the testing report.
